Meet Author Mari Shaw. Join esteemed art collector, arts patron, storyteller, and author Mari Shaw as she intelligently explores the obscure desires that shape art collecting and the public goodwill that results from it. She will be signing her book, The Noble Art of Collecting: Words, Books and The Spaces They Inhabit.
Mari Shaw is an intellectual property lawyer, art collector, arts patron, philanthropist, storyteller, and author. Her first book was about the renowned Philadelphia based artist Thomas Chimes, having spent 15 years in conversations with him prior to his death.
Mari and her husband, Peter, have built what many art experts consider to be one of the most dramatic, jaw dropping, and awe-inspiring contemporary art collections in the city. She is also an avid collector of art jewelry. Mari and Peter Show live in both Philadelphia and Berlin.
